One of the things that drove me crazy ever since getting an iPod was trying to find a pair of portable headphones that both sounded good and looked good. The Apple buds aren't up to much, and I don't get on too well with earbuds in general. After trying a bunch of stuff, I ended up back with the Koss PortaPros, which sound great, but look like something that could potentially have been connected to an 8-track. I suppose they do have a certain retro appeal though. They are also open phones, so you don't get much sound isolation on planes etc - and neither do your co-workers when you use them at work. But now there is an answer - the Sennheiser PX200s. Closed phones, great looking, great sounding, and pretty cheap. I am a happy bunny, for now anyway. They also have an open version, the PX100, which apparently sounds better, if you don't care about that "annoying your co-workers" thing.
